INTACTO

Yes, this is an alarming trend.  More than a few of my newer reviews have been foreign films.  This one hails from Spain.  If you don't like to read your movies then by all means don't view them.

This one was has a strange and rather unique story.  It is about a strange ability to steal other peoples luck with a touch.  It focuses around a young thief who survives a plane crash and the luckiest man alive, a concentration camp survivor.  Through a series of bizarre games to test their new found luck the two men meet to play the ultimate game for everything.

When I first watched it I was all for it.  Now that I have some distance from it I must say it does carry its share of flaws.  It is well acted but very slow.  The games they play are unique but don't elevate the film past its plodding pace.

I would say its worth watching once, if you are in the mood for a strange drama but the mystery and twist ending they try for falls flat as you view it you realize you saw it coming.

Only if the film sounds like your cup of tea would I recommend it.
