ROLE MODELS
![]() Just when I think I can't stand to look at Sean William Scott another second, out comes another movie that looks like I just have to see it.
The synopsis is this: As the worlds least likely mentors Danny and Wheeler must put aside their selfish, sarcastic, party-driven ways in order to give two foul mouthed kids invaluable wisdom about life, love and Heavy Metal.
Once again Sean William Scott plays Stiffler from American Pie but pairing him with Paul Rudd, who once again plays an embittered misanthrope. (that means hates everyone and everything, okay Jeremy?) So if you are bored with this kind of thing from these two seeming one note actors then wait.
This film actually plays to the strengths of these actors apparent weaknesses. What you get is a fun romp full of misadventure and very little in the way of that annoying depth that some filmmakers want to ruin a good comedy with.
Sure they make a half hearted play at being warm hearted but it is in a manner way to ridiculous to make you choke up instead of laugh. All the kids are funny and the story zooms along from one laugh to another. Plus its been a while since I heard Kiss in a soundtrack.
I recommend this one if you just want to laugh.
