Final Analysis:
While probably no longer on the New Release shelves at your local video store you should still be able to find it. My wife picked this one up in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. Annoyed at first that my wife spent five dollars, it was entertainment dollar well spent.
All the time engaging as Ellen Page (Pre-Juno) is a revelation here. I think her performance here far exceeds the one from Juno. But it was her male antagonist that, while overshadowed by the dynamic personality of Page’s character, sells the reality of the situation. His deft and sometimes subdued response in bizarre circumstances really added gravity to his situation. As well, I appreciated that the filmmakers left it up to you to pay attention to understand what the protagonists motives were. All in all, a phenomenal motion picture about a less than savory topic.
