Final Analysis: A very touching and fun movie. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and all that stuff. They really do cram it in there. My wife rented this one and I really thought it great. Being a dog enthusiast, I am guilty of a little extra sentimentality here. That being said, this was really entertaining. The movie follows the life of the dog in the family as the family grows and changes. The dog is the only constant and an emotional surrogate at times. Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston do good work here. The one flaw I can think is how the end is handled. Starts of sweetly and subtle, then shifts into a sledgehammer.

RENT IT.
