NICK & NORA’S INFINITE PLAYLIST Synopsis: Heartbroken Nick is in a rut until he meets Nora at his band’s gig. Nick and Nora then spend the night looking for Where’s Fluffy while falling for each other. PROS CONS Final Analysis: While not completely devoid of watchability it was still not that good. The story is your typical boy meets girl storyline. Fine. I don’t mind that. Leaves plenty of avenues to explore open but this was pretty much paint by numbers and kind of boring. I am becoming annoyed by gay characters in movies that are so damn clichÈd. I am tired of the assumption that because some guy is gay that they have this amazing transcendent insight into the amorous interpersonal relationships of the straight that is prevalent in the cinema today. As if being gay makes you some kind of love guru. Being gay mean you are gay and no more gifted with romantic insight than the next fella, ya folla. That aside, the movie was completely derivative. Avoid unless you are a girl between 12 to 20. |
